Semi-supervised cross-lingual speech emotion recognition
Speech emotion recognition (SER) on a single language has achieved remarkable
results through deep learning approaches over the last decade. However,
cross-lingual SER remains a challenge in real-world applications due to (i) a
large difference between the source and target domain distributions, (ii) the
availability of few labeled and many unlabeled utterances for the new language.
Taking into account previous aspects, we propose a Semi-Supervised Learning
(SSL) method for cross-lingual emotion recognition when a few labels from the
new language are available. Based on a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), our
method adapts to a new language by exploiting a pseudo-labeling strategy for
the unlabeled utterances. In particular, the use of a hard and soft
pseudo-labels approach is investigated. We thoroughly evaluate the performance
of the method in a speaker-independent setup on both the source and the new
language and show its robustness across five languages belonging to different
linguistic strains

SUPPERT SYSTEMS OF MAKING SOLUTIONS FOR STRUCTURIZATION AND ANALYSIS OF QUALITATIVE ALTERNATIVES
The aim is to develop the methodology for constructing support systems of making solutions for analysis of the weakly-structurized problems, to develop the new theoretical approaches to the structurization of the ill-formalized objects described by the qualitative signs, to ralize the methods and algorithms of analysis within the limits of the applied support systems of making solutions. The new theoretical tooling based on the multiset theory has been developed for representation and investigation of structure of the objects described by qualitative signs. The concepts and operations in the multiset theory have been developed and introduced. The new approach to construct the analysis algorithms for structurization of the qualitative objects have been proposed. The developed new models and methods for analysis of the weakly-structurized problems have been realized in the specialized support systems of making solutions used for solving a number of the practical problems in the multicriterial evaluation, comparison, selection and ordering of the alternatives.
